Public Safety
Strengthen collaboration between the City, RCMP, bylaw and service providers. Expand proven programs such as the URBA Community Safety Team, Downtown On Call and Downtown Kelowna’s Street Outreach and Cleanup Program, while improving access to treatment and housing and maintaining clear expectations for safety in public spaces.
Economic Growth
Support local businesses, attract investment and create jobs by improving City processes and preparing employment lands for growth. Build stronger partnerships with industry, education, and economic-development organizations while targeting opportunities in technology, aerospace, agriculture, and other emerging sectors.
Housing & Infrastructure
Increase housing supply by speeding up approvals, supporting appropriate density, and encouraging development where infrastructure and services can support it. Plan transportation, water, power and other essential infrastructure alongside growth, while reviewing development costs and protecting existing taxpayers.
Connected Neighbourhoods
Build complete neighborhoods with access to childcare, recreation, parks, youth programs, transit and everyday services. Invest in practical transportation improvements, expand community partnerships and ensure neighborhoods throughout Kelowna receive the services and infrastructure needed to remain safe, connected and welcoming.
Transparent Government
Set clear priorities, manage public funds responsibly and regularly report on costs, timelines and results. Residents should understand why decisions are made, how their tax dollars are being used and whether City programs and investments are delivering measurable value.
Community Engagement
Leadership starts with listening, but it must lead to action. I will remain accessible, return residents’ calls and work with neighborhoods, businesses, community organizations and subject-matter experts—then clearly explain the decisions I make and the results I expect them to achieve.
